Helping Poor & Needy Telugu Students
The APTA Student Education Program (ASEP) is APTA's flagship initiative dedicated to helping the poor and needy Telugu students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with their educational expenses. Since its inception, ASEP has provided financial assistance to thousands of deserving students across India.
ASEP operates through a unique referral model where APTA Life Members identify and sponsor deserving students. Referrers contribute a minimum of 30% of the estimated annual educational expenses, while APTA covers the remaining 70%, ensuring that no deserving Telugu student is held back by financial constraints.

Program Features
ASEP provides need-based scholarships in Indian Rupees to students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through APTA Life Member referrals.
Need-Based Scholarships in India
Annual scholarships for poor and needy Telugu students in AP/Telangana: Intermediate ₹10,000, Polytechnic ₹12,000, Bachelor's ₹12,000, B.Tech/Engineering ₹18,000, MCA/MBA ₹18,000, Medicine ₹25,000, Master's ₹18,000.
Life Member Referral Model
Applications are accepted only through APTA Life Member referrals. Referrers contribute a minimum 30% of annual educational expenses, with APTA covering the remaining 70%.
Academic Excellence Requirement
Students must maintain 70% or above marks from 10th class onward, ensuring scholarships support students committed to their academic growth and future.
Comprehensive Selection Process
A rigorous process including committee review, telephonic panel interviews, and final approval by the APTA Executive Committee ensures scholarships reach the most deserving students.
Application Process
ASEP scholarships are available only through APTA Life Member referrals. Here is how the process works.
Life Member Referral
An APTA Life Member, Patron Member, or Grand Patron Member identifies a deserving student and submits a referral application on their behalf.
Committee Review
The ASEP Committee reviews all referral applications, verifying the student's academic records, financial need, and eligibility criteria.
Panel Interview
Shortlisted students undergo telephonic panel interviews conducted by the ASEP Committee to assess their needs and aspirations.
Executive Committee Approval
Final selections are approved by the APTA Executive Committee, and scholarship amounts are disbursed in Indian Rupees to students.
Eligibility Criteria
Ensure you meet the following criteria before submitting your application.
- Must be a poor and needy Telugu student in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, India
- Must be referred by an APTA Life Member, Patron Member, or Grand Patron Member
- Must have maintained 70% or above marks from 10th class onward
- Currently enrolled in Intermediate, Polytechnic, Bachelor's, B.Tech/Engineering, MCA/MBA, Medicine, or Master's program
- Referrer must contribute a minimum of 30% of the estimated annual educational expenses
- APTA covers the remaining 70% of the estimated annual educational expenses
